Lead Floral Designer & boutique manager
Lauren is a Kentucky certified florist who has studied design and worked professionally in the wedding and event industry for over eight years. She loves design and working with her clients to bring their personal visions to life. She has a strong eye for detail and is inspired by naturalist design and working with a variety of textures. An avid coffee drinker and lover of music, you can find her hiking with family and their pups or soaking in the local music and art scene as often as they can.
Nancy Rankin’s nearly 30 years of design, retail and management experience has culminated into a variety of business ventures. As the owner of Essential Details, Blooms Boutique, Blooms by Essential Details, Huber Décor and Idea Source, she works tirelessly with the community and her clients to develop and maintain national accounts and promote local business. She received her B.A. in Merchandising Apparel and Textiles, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Kentucky where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She serves on numerous committees and participates with several nonprofit organizations. Her flair for cultivating creativity and individual style is apparent in the unique culture reflected in her successful businesses. Nancy and her family loves entertaining relatives and friends at their log cabin in Shelby County, and they enjoy youth and college sports teams and related activities. The Rankins are active members of Covenant United Methodist Church in LaGrange.
Nancy’s greatest fear is being “ordinary or average,” and to avoid falling into that category she is committed to lifelong learning and trying new things. Her personal goal is to be “Excellent in Everything, Everytime.”
